The NEPROMAX was specially developed for taking soil samples for surveying nematodes.
Functional Description:
The heart of the machine is a wheel with a circumference of exactly five metres, which is equipped with a probe that takes a soil sample as soon as it is pressed into the ground. Half a rotation later the probe travels by an air-jet which blows the soil sample into a bag.
The NEPROMAX extracts samples while travelling. At least 400 sample extractions must be carried out for each hectare whenever surveying nematodes, meaning it can be quite a time-consuming task. The NEPROMAX allows the job to be done much more quickly.
Time savings can be greatly increased by using a special magazine designed specifically for the NEPROMAX. The magazine can hold 30 soil sample bags, which can be taken one after the other, after up to 50 soil extractions.
The machine is available either as a trailer unit with a bag holder and counter for soil extractions, or as a trailer unit with magazine for 30 bags (control is GPS adaptable, travel path recording and storage of coordinates for each bag change is possible), or as an automobile trailer equipped with tyres that are gentle to the ground surface and has its own compressor for compressed air supply.
